How do I apply for a Richard Sutch Student Travel Grant to help pay the cost? Starting in April 15th, 2026, a link to apply for one of SSHA’s competitive student travel grants will be available at https://ssha.org/conference/sutch-travel-awards/

NOTE: In order to facilitate valuable discussion of new research, the SSHA conference is an in-person only event, and there will be no ability to participate virtually (via Zoom or otherwise). If you are submitting to present at the conference, it is expected that you will attend and participate in person. We recognize that not everyone can participate in person, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Submission Process is Now Complete

Many thanks to those who submitted papers for the 2026 meeting. Authors can view their submissions online, but editing is not allowed at this stage. Network Representatives and Organizers will now be reviewing the submissions to their sessions. Authors will be notified by email. Authors of accepted papers will then have an opportunity to edit their titles and abstracts.
